About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Success & Technical Specialist to join our growing team developing advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software for the defense sector.

In this role, you will ensure that our simulation technology is applied effectively, reliably, and consistently. Your focus will be on documenting, validating, and supporting established workflows, making complex technical capabilities accessible, reproducible, and trustworthy.

This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who thrives at the intersection of engineering, customer engagement, and applied simulation.

Key responsibilities

 Customer Support & Documentation
  • Provide advanced technical assistance to customers using FEA software.
  • Document simulation workflows, use cases, and best practices for internal and external use.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of verified procedures, technical notes, and tutorials.
Validation & Verification
  • Perform validation studies comparing simulation results to reference or experimental data.
  • Execute benchmark simulations to ensure reproducibility of existing features.
  • Support customer and internal verification efforts to maintain high-quality simulation outputs.
Training & Knowledge Transfer
  • Support training sessions led by Marketing/Revenue team, providing technical depth.
  • Prepare structured materials, tutorials, and technical documentation based on established methods.
  • Act as internal resource for technical questions from colleagues and customers.
Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Work with Marketing, R&D, and project teams to translate technical content into customer-facing deliverables.
  • Communicate customer feedback regarding usability, documentation gaps, and technical improvements.
  • Contribute to product improvement discussions based on validated workflows and experience.
Communication & Outreach
  • Present validated workflows, best practices, and technical insights through webinars, workshops, and conferences.
  • Represent the company at user meetings and industry events.
Qualifications
  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Mechanics, or related field.
  • Strong background in FEA or related numerical simulation techniques.
  • Solid understanding of nonlinear dynamics, materials modeling, impact/ballistics, or defense applications.
  • Experience in technical documentation, validation studies, or process standardization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex technical concepts for colleagues and customers.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and ensures technical excellence in workflows and documentation.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages and defense industry experience a plus.
