Improve your simulation results with system integrated tools and accurate library data
Accurate and robust simulations of impact, blast and terminal ballistics require proper knowledge, tools and data.
Together, the community of IMPETUS users has a wide knowledge of material and threat behavior in defense applications. If this data can be shared and protected in a controlled manner, it will make the engineering process more efficient and user-friendly.
We would like to demonstrate new and upcoming system tools, such as parametric objects, fragmentation analysis and VAA (Vulnerable Area Assessment).
This meeting also focuses on data distribution on Impetus MARKET. We aim to show currently available objects and to make a forecast of the upcoming volume.
The event is an opportunity to bring together IMPETUS users having expertise on material testing and material calibration, test laboratories, research organizations, universities, agencies, consulting companies, suppliers and OEMs within the defense market.

Social programme – boat trip
On the evening of 28th June we will go for a boat trip to the island Engelsholmen. Weather permitting, dinner will be held as a garden party on the coast.
Travel
Flying
Stavanger airport (SVG). Rent a car and drive to Flekkefjord (120 km – max 2 hours).
Driving
Drive to Hirtshals in Denmark and take the ferry to Kristiansand (approximately 3 hrs). Drive from Kristiansand to Flekkefjord (1.5 hrs).

Bookings
250 Euro per person to cover reception, coffee breaks, lunch, dinner and social programme. An invoice will be sent out after the event.
Hotel bookings will handled by us and we will notify each participant as soon as we have confirmation from the hotels. Price for hotel (paid separately at the hotel) is 1695 NOK / night.
