A new command for underwater explosions
A semi-empirical command for pressure loading due to underwater explosions is available from IMPETUS Solver Engine revision 6.0.803.
The command name is *LOAD_UNDEX and it is based on a work by Geers and Hunter (An integrated wave-effects model for an underwater explosion bubble, Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2002). The model predicts the bubble oscillation, vertical migration and pressure loads that will be generated on surrounding structures.
