We are happy to announce that that our project proposal for the European Defence Fund (EDF) 2024 call was selected and our project will receive funding. This was a very competive call dedicated to SMEs and research organizations where just 11 projects out of 106 proposals were selected by the European Commission. We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone involved in the project proposal!

IMPETUS will lead and coordinate the consortium consisting of FFI (Norway), Fraunhofer CML (Germany), and Multiverse Computing (Spain). We will also subcontract Iveco / IDV (Italy) and Integris Composites (Denmark) for relevant use cases and the French company ARTTIC will support us on the project management.

This project will provide a great opportunity for us working on innovative solutions for characterizing and modeling crack propagation of ammunition and vehicle protection and exploit the evolving technology of quantum computing.
