Description

Defines thermal properties that are linked to a material through tid in the material command.

The command collects thermal expansion ($\alpha_T$), heat capacity ($C_p$), conductivity ($\lambda$), plastic work heat conversion ($k$), reference temperature ($T_{ref}$) and emissivity ($\varepsilon$). Constants or CURVE-based temperature dependence can be used where supported by the material model.

In the material kernels, $T_{ref}$ is used together with $\alpha_T$ to evaluate thermal strain terms and pressure/volumetric response. Keep tid=0 in the material command when no thermal coupling is intended.
